Let Us Hear Your Thoughts!

Hello there, lovely blog followers!

As you know, we have temporarily stopped accepting book review requests. Please don't think that we've stopped caring about this blog. We haven't. As a matter of fact, we have been contemplating new and/or revised memes for the upcoming year. 2015 will be a year that we will be renewing our commitment to blogging and to you. With that in mind, we would love to hear your thoughts about one idea in particular.

Most, if not all, readers eventually consider the idea of writing their own work one day. Some of us even participate in NaNoWriMo every year; including our very own reviewer Kathy. It's upon that premise that we present to you a potential new meme.

At the beginning of each month, we would post a writing prompt. It could be a picture to inspire you, a mini-dialogue for you to use, or the beginning of a sentence for you to begin your story ... just to name a few. There would be length limitations. Submissions would be accepted all month long. Once the month is finished, the submissions would be read by one or more of Literary R&R's reviewers. A winner, or winners, will be chosen based upon certain criteria yet to be decided.

We will have all the specifics worked out in time for the first writing prompt to be posted. This post is just to see how much interest we can generate in this idea. If enough of you express an interest, then we will begin ironing out the details immediately. So ... let us hear your thoughts!
