National Read-a-thon Day Fundraiser

As book bloggers, or book blog followers, we all love to read. The next best thing to reading for ourselves is helping someone else learn to read. That's why we buy our children, family members, and friends books. That's what this fundraiser is for: to raise funds for the National Book Foundation, a non-profit that is expanding the audience for literature in America through programs like BookUp, The Innovations in Reading Prize, and the National Book Awards.

Also, on National Readathon Day, we've pledged to read with booklovers all across America from noon to 4 p.m. (in our respective time zones) on January 24, 2015.

We would love it if you would join us on January 24th for the Readathon and if you could take a moment to make a donation. We will not see any of the money. 100% of the proceeds will go to the National Book Foundation. Help us in our goal of reaching $500! No amount is too small when it comes to supporting literacy.

Thanks so much!
